Engineered for demanding industrial applications, the Slice 10538 Industrial Blades are extra-long, durable ceramic blades designed to handle thick and soft materials with ease. At approximately 3 inches (76mm) of cutting depth, these blades are perfect for cutting foam, batting, insulation, and other bulky materials.
Unlike traditional steel blades, Slice blades are made from 100% zirconium oxide, a high-tech ceramic material that is harder than steel, chemically inert, non-conductive, and rust-proof. They remain sharp up to 11x longer than metal blades while offering Slice’s signature finger-friendly® edge that cuts effectively but is safe to touch.
