Spatz Convoy Cargo Bib Shorts

The Spatzwear ‘CONVOY’ Bib Shorts are like nothing else on the market. Designed to let you ride as far as you want; as fast as you want. Developed to work in perfect unison with our Jerseys, Base Layers and Gilets.

The killer features of the ‘CONVOY’ Bib Shorts are the cargo pockets. Not only 2 mesh pockets positioned across the rear section, but also a small additional pocket placed snugly on the inside top of the right thigh: Extra convenience when you want to grab or stow a gel without causing unneccesary faff, bulk or drag.

The cut of the shorts is long (down to the knee). We have added 10cm woven-in silicone grippers for comfort, positioning and to integrate beautifully with leg, knee or thigh warmers.

Logos are subtle, black rubberised print and go unnoticed until a headlight beam hits, when the reflective paint glows up strong. We have added subtle logos under the mesh cargo pockets which only catch the eye in the glare of a headlight.

We have specified a high quality, perforated synthetic chamois that performs well with or without chamois cream. After 2 years of testing and development, we opted for a medium thickness, medium density chamois that will not bunch up as you shift and move on the bike.

These are shorts which you could realistically use for a 200km gravel epic, and then wear to smash up your local evening criterium the next day. They will soon become your go-to shorts for racing, training, gravel or simply riding.

We have designed shorts which are fitted and aerodynamic yet offer features you will come to rely on every day. They has been developed and tested to destruction by the current Olympic Champion.
