SCRUBB Patio & Driveway Sealer creates a tough, invisible seal on all porous natural and artificial stone such as sandstone, marble, concrete, slate, terracotta and brick. Applied to new or thoroughly cleaned surfaces it will resist stains, make cleaning easier and keep paved areas looking new for longer. It will produce a mild colour-enhancing effect, the intensity of which will vary depending on the type of material it is applied to.
IDEAL USE CASES:
- New patios and driveways: Protect and preserve the appearance of newly laid surfaces.
- Restored surfaces: After using SCRUBB Black Spot Remover to clean old patios or driveways, seal the surface to lock in the refreshed look and enhance its colour.
- Stain-prone areas: This sealer is perfect for outdoor areas prone to staining, such as spots near barbecues or under trees.
- High-traffic areas: Ideal for paths, driveways, and other surfaces exposed to frequent foot or vehicle traffic, as it helps resist wear and tear.
BEST PRACTICE:
- Reapply periodically: For high-traffic areas or surfaces exposed to severe weather, reapply the sealer every few years to maintain protection.
- Enhance colour: For a more vibrant colour enhancement, apply additional coats after the first has dried completely.
- Non-porous surfaces: Avoid using on polished marble or glazed tiles, as these won’t absorb the sealer.
- Constantly wet surfaces: This product is not suited for areas with continuous moisture, like pool surrounds. Consider a waterproofing sealant for these conditions.
- Damaged surfaces: Do not apply to crumbling or heavily damaged areas. These should be repaired or replaced first.
